This site was designed to document our betrothal, and now our life as a young married couple in the Ministry.
It was also designed to show others God's way of getting to the marriage altar not only physically pure, but emotionally pure.
We want young people to see that God has a plan for marriage and it doesn't include dating. God has a better way. Join us to find out how!
This was our first annual Valley Baptist Academy Alumni Game.
All of the current students in both volleyball (ladies) and basketball (guys), played against some of the students from years past.
It was a great time of fun and fellowship. Boy, I'm glad I didn't play, I know that I wouldn't of been in shape. I think some of our alumni were feeling it too. But I know that if next year they have a team of church members who didn't go to school there, I will be ready! :-)
The Alumni (boys) won by two points!
We had a pretty good turn out
This time around the young students were just a little to energetic for the alumni. But both played a great game!!

After the games we went back to the church for a barbecue..
We all had a great time and look forward to next year.
Good job to all who participated!
Yummy!
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
While in Phoenix we heard that a dear preacher friend of ours was going to preaching at a church not to far way.
His name is David Porter. Several years ago, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of an orange. He was given just weeks to live. So in faith he begin studying the Bible to see everything that it said to do about healing.
To make a long story short, he survived the surgery, they were able to remove 95% of the tumor. And he is still preaching faithfully. From time to time he has trouble reading, but other then that God has really blessed him.
One of the most admirable traits about Bro Porter, is his zeal for soul-winning. I have personally watched him walk a mile with someone just to witness, more then once.
Lakeside Baptist Church, of Peoria AZ, is temporally meeting in the Challenger Space Center in Peoria. They soon will be moving to a school building that will have plenty of classrooms for Sunday School and Junior Church.
Being in this space center, I kept telling Samantha, this would be a great place to preach on creation!
This was a good church, but we were sad to have missed the pastor though. He was out of town.
This is a picture of the auditorium from the second floor elevator.

If you look closely at the wall you can see the cross that separates the timeline on the mural.
For many of you, you probably didn't know that way back in 2001 I used to work at Universal Studios as an Admissions Host. As a 18 year old, I got saved out in California, and was looking for a job. I heard that Universal was hiring so I figured I would go down and put in an application, well to my surprise they hired me on the spot.
Every day for about 6 months I would drive my little red Dodge Neon down Lankershim Blvd into Universal City from North Hollywood.
Then I would, park my car in the Frankenstine Parking garage, make the small walk, to the park.
From there I would go into the administration building and stand in line and get my garment bag that had my newly dry-cleaned uniform for the day.
Go to the locker room and put it on, go down stairs, enter my time card code and off I went to check in with my lead (supervisor).
From there I would be positioned either at the front gate, or at the Annual Pass both, or at the Stroller Rental area.
I really enjoyed this job, it was so much fun to help people have a fun time. I made sure to go out of my way to make the guest feel like royalty.
So since we were in Lancaster and we were on our way to Phoenix, we decided to stop at Universal Studios. It was so much fun to go back and see the place I had worked all those years ago. It was fun to see what was the same and what had changed. It was great to be able to show Samantha around.
One of the most exciting things to do at Universal Studios is ride the Tram. This takes you into the "Backlot" where they film movies and TV shows. Now I'm not really a TV watcher, (most TV is so wicked) but I do find it interesting to see how things are made. This 45 minute tour really shows you behind the scenes of how movies are made.
I would place this warning before you all, it is so easy to let Satan into your home through the TV and Internet. One wrong click, of either a mouse or a remote can shatter you or your families innocence or create a lasting addiction.
Dont be deceived, Satan is crafty and he can and will force himself into your home.
Going on rides with Samantha is so much fun. She gets scared very easy! Which of course makes rides so much more fun! P.S. It's ok to scream...it makes fun
WELCOME TO JURASSIC PARK!
While we were there, we were asked to take a marketing survey to for some new trash bags. All we had to do was answer a few questions about the smell of a few samples. In exchange we each received $5.00 in Universal Cash, which could be used anywhere in the park.

At the WATERWORLD show
I'm grateful to have a faithful, God honoring wife! It was a blessing to me that we could go to a theme park and not be caught up in the carnality of it. I am so blessed.
